Mark Hauser is the founder and managing partner of Hauser Private Equity, a hybrid private equity fund management firm based in the Los Angeles area. He is also affiliated with HAUSER, a Cincinnati-based insurance brokerage firm.
Hauser Private Equity uses a unique and successful strategy of co-investing directly through lower market and middle market assets using partnerships with control buyout funds. The firm leverages the collective multi-industry expertise of its directors and limited partners to grow companies and improve returns.

Early Life and Education
Mark Hauser was born in Cincinnati, the son of former pro football player Art Hauser and Joan Hauser. He attended St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati and graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in finance.
Post-matriculation, Hauser worked as a vice president for Reynolds, DeWitt & Co., a merchant banking firm.

Business Success for Hauser
In 1995, he purchased the predecessor company to The Hauser Group. Following the purchase, Hauser grew the agency from a local Cincinnati insurance company to a national risk management and brokerage firm. Today, HAUSER specializes in creating benefits and insurance products for national companies with a private equity mindset, all backed with a robust focus on due diligence and talented mergers and acquisitions teams.

Today, HAUSER is headquartered in Cincinnati with offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles and St. Louis. Their corporate headquarters is located, since 2016, in the penthouse office space of Kenwood Collection Tower, a mixed-use space consisting of office and retail property in northern Cincinnati.
Hauser has had a diverse career of investments and ventures. Together with partner Bob Castellini, he developed the Cincinnati Sports Mall, which is the largest indoor sports complex in Ohio. With 110,000 square feet of indoor athletic facilities on 13 acres, the site serves as the official training facility of the Cincinnati Reds.
